LAS VEGAS: The D Las Vegas will open an original bar concept, BarCanada, an ode to Canadian sports and culture, in March. The 2,000-square-foot space will have a bar, communal tables, and televisions for watching hockey games. The hotel also announced plans to renovate its 9,000-square-foot second floor casino, which includes an expansion of its sports book.
LOS ANGELES: The JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live has opened Savoca, a new Italian eatery with California influences located in the hotel's lobby. It has 120 seats.
NEW YORK: To celebrate the Oscars with fans on the East Coast, Verizon will host an immersive fan experience at Times Square Plaza on Sunday. The experience will feature a 360-degree camera to “transport” fans to the Oscars Red Carpet in Hollywood.
SAN FRANCISCO: Fieldwork Brewing Company has opened a new taproom at Town Center Corte Madera in Marin County. The venue includes a 2,400-square-foot indoor taproom and outdoor seating.
WASHINGTON: Riggs Washington DC has opened in Penn Quarter. The 181-room hotel features a 2,500-square-foot rooftop event space.
