CANADA: Vancouver's AR-Driven Art Exhibit, Toronto's 100-Meter Corridor of Lights and More

CALGARY: The Glow Downtown Winter Light Festival has been postponed until February 2022 due to ongoing restrictions surrounding COVID-19. The event had previously been planned for Feb. 11-14. 

TORONTO: The Harbourfront Centre and The Waterfront BIA's outdoor winter celebration—called Site Alive, Winter Edition—is taking place Jan. 15 to Feb. 17. The immersive experience, which takes over the 10-acre waterfront campus, comprises two exhibitions: Festival of Cool, a 100-meter corridor of lights, and Northern Ontario Diaries, an audio experience. 

The Canadian Collision Industry Forum will host CCIF Toronto, The Virtual Experience, from Feb. 3-4. The gathering will include virtual networking opportunities, conferences and workshops, speaker Q&As and more. Content from the virtual conference will be available for three months afterward. 

VANCOUVER: The Vancouver Convention Centre is the latest venue to receive the GBAC STAR accreditation for outbreak prevention and response. As a result, all of BC Pavilion Corporation's facilities have also received the accreditation. 

The Vancouver Mural Festival will host a new event, VMF Winter Arts, from Feb. 12-28. Over 20 pieces of art will be set up throughout the city; visitors can download a custom app and interact with the work through augmented-reality technology.
