There will also be free community panel discussions with local and national Black voices in film and television.

Topics include fashion, finances, career choices, hair care and more; there's also a youth business showcase featuring young entrepreneurs, and attendees can "shop" their services in Zoom breakout rooms. The first event kicked off Feb. 5 with the Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra.

VANCOUVER: The Vancouver Mural Festival will host a new event, VMF Winter Arts, from Feb. 12-28. Over 20 pieces of art will be set up throughout the city; visitors can download a custom app and interact with the work through augmented reality technology.
