The 2021 Great Canadian Aftermarket Trade Show will be held as a virtual event this year, taking place throughout May and June. ST. ALBERT, ALBERTA: Running from April 28 to June 6 is the International Children’s Festival of the Arts virtual event, 40 Days of Play. Each day, different ways to play safely and creatively will be shared on childfest.com and the festival’s social media accounts. To conclude the festivities, there will be four special virtual performances scheduled for June 4-6.

TORONTO: The 15th anniversary of the Luminato Festival is moving from June to October due to COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario. Organizers plan to release more details in the coming months, but attendees can expect original Canadian film and digital experiences from across the Toronto area, including live music, dance and theatrical performances.

VANCOUVER: Twenty local brands are currently competing to help Vancouver become a “zero waste” city. The two-day virtual competition called “Brand Battle for Good” kicked off yesterday with companies like Lush, Deloitte, Hootsuite and Sole working on innovative ways to get Vancouverites interested in reducing their waste; the winner will be announced May 5 and will get a $50,000 digital marketing package to help launch their idea.
