NATIONAL: The iHeart Radio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One is officially returning this year. The event will be broadcast as a network television special on Dec. 15 on The CW. Some highlighted performers include Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Jonas Brothers, Lil Nas X and more. The tour will have 13 different stops around the U.S., and tickets go on sale to the public on Oct. 8.
Destination and event management company ETHOS Event Collective has expanded its national presence with new offices in Chicago and Las Vegas. In addition, industry leaders Michelle Castady Orlando and Ana Lampas have been added to the growing team.
LOS ANGELES: Women in Film’s annual WIF Honors will be held Oct. 6 at the new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The event has a “Trailblazers of the New Normal” theme; it will be hosted by Jenny Yang and honorees include Jane Fonda, Zazie Beetz, Marlee Matlin, Jean Smart and Zendaya. The event is designed to recognize the work that makes the entertainment industry more inclusive.
MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Four Seasons Hotel Miami will host Daisuke Nakazawa and Alessandro Borgognone of Sushi Nakazawa for a reiteration of the team’s critically acclaimed omakase destination, popping up at the hotel from Oct. 7 to Nov. 13. Taking over the hotel’s glass-walled gallery space 14 Thirty-Five, the dining experience will be a 19-course omakase led by executive chef Wei Chen. Reservations are available to book through Resy and are $250 per person.
PARK CITY, UTAH: Pendry Park City, a new mountain resort in the heart of Canyons Village at Park City Mountain, will open in January 2022. The property offers access to 7,300 acres of skiable terrain; it has 153 guest rooms, four lounge and restaurant experiences including Park City’s only rooftop pool and bar, and more than 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
