CANADA: Updates on Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, The Queen's Ball: A 'Bridgerton' Experience, Vancouver International Black Film Festival and More

MONTREAL: "The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience" will be held at Le Windsor Ballroom starting on Jan. 29. The immersive event will run until March 6 and will feature acrobatic performances, a string quartet playing songs inspired by the show and specialty cocktails. Tickets are available now and start at $49 for general admission.

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO: Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort plans to open its new $130 million entertainment center in April 2022. The 5,000-seat concert hall’s first performance will be a show from singer Joey Yung on April 24, followed by performances from artists like Larry the Cable Guy, ZZ Top and Cheap Trick. 

TORONTO: Evergreen's Holiday Market will begin Dec. 17 and will run through Dec. 22 at Evergreen Brick Works. Some highlights include an outdoor skating rink, enchanted forest photo opportunities and a chance to pick out a Christmas tree. The market and skating are free and there will also be local street fare, vendors and food trucks.

VANCOUVER: Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver is being rebranded as the Paradox Hotel before its reopening in 2022. The 616-foot-tall, 63-story tower is the second tallest building in Vancouver, and it will have 147 guest rooms as well as 217 luxury condos on the upper floors.

The first Vancouver International Black Film Festival was held from Dec. 9-12. There were 38 different films from seven countries presented and streamed. This year's festival also featured panel discussions from TV and movie professionals.
