GLOBAL: The Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket and the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl hotel, has partnered with Halo Solutions to streamline event safety and security at the ground. With a flexible capacity of up to 25,000, the ground regularly hosts international matches as well as local home games, and it is a major outdoor concert location with a capacity of 35,000. Halo streamlines event management from the control room to the staff on the ground, connecting multiple agencies, venue functions and previously disconnected teams. Delivery teams can log and record incidents using Halo in real-time with user-friendly mobile and desktop applications, getting the full picture to the right people.

LAS VEGAS: Station Casinos recently broke ground on the Durango Casino and Resort, which is slated to open in late 2023. The project will include 83,000 square feet of casino space including indoor and outdoor socializing spaces, 20,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, four signature food and beverage outlets and more.

NEW YORK: The Garden of Dreams Foundation will host the 14th edition of its Garden of Dreams Talent Show on April 13 at Radio City Music Hall. The event’s 24 acts are made up of young people from the foundation’s 30 partner organizations, including Make-a-Wish, New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, Department of Homeless Services, Children’s Aid and more.

ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: AREA15 has announced that its second location will debut in Orlando in 2024. The immersive and experiential art, entertainment, dining and retail district will occupy about 300,000 square feet of space situated on 17 acres located off Interstate 4 in the heart of the city’s tourism corridor. There will be more than 150,000 square feet of retail space available for lease. Upon its opening, AREA15 Orlando will feature interactive art installations, extraordinary design elements, unique retail, innovative technology, plus bars, eateries and much more.

WASHINGTON, DC: The National Cherry Blossom Festival will kick off its spring programming with its annual opening ceremony, taking place at the Warner Theatre on March 20. The artistic celebration, co-presented by The Japan Foundation, will showcase an array of performing arts and culture from Japan and the U.S., and it will also mark the 110th anniversary of the trees being gifted from Tokyo to Washington.
