CANADA: Edmonton's Winterruption YEG, Wavelength Winter Music & Arts Festival, PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, and More

NATIONAL: Marriott International and Groups360 are launching Instant Booking for guest room and meeting space reservations to me made online through GroupSync and Marketplace. It's available in 1,500 Marriott hotels across the U.S. and Canada, allowing for a more user-friendly experience with accessible real-time availability and group rates. 

BANFF: The town located in Banff National Park has banned smoking and vaping tobacco in most outdoor public spaces, including outdoor markets and events. Smoking and vaping tobacco is now limited to parking lots, private property, and alleys. Violators will be fined $250-$500. 

EDMONTON: Edmonton’s winter festival, Winterruption YEG, has announced its 2023 lineup with performances from musicians, comedians, drag performers, and more. The festival will take place Jan. 25-29. Weekend wristbands that permit access to any Winterruption venue are sold out, but individual show tickets are available via Winterruption's website for $49. 

TORONTO: Wavelength Winter Music & Arts Festival returns for the first time since it's pandemic-induced hiatus March 9-11. The festival will occupy a pop-up space at Dovercourt House, as well as Danforth Music Hall and TD Music Hall for larger events on March 25 and 31. The lineup includes artists like Zoon, Don’t Make Me Say Think, Deerhoof, and more. 

VANCOUVER: PuSh International Performing Arts Festival began on Jan. 19 and runs until Feb. 5. It features 20 different works of dance, theater, music, and multimedia by artists from 12 different countries. Single tickets, as well as PuSh Passes for multi-show access, are available.
