US: Visit Orlando's New COO, a Chicago Hotel's Late-Winter Offerings for Groups, Citizen Live's Newest Venue Sponsorship, and More

GLOBAL: Valor Hospitality Partners has appointed Steve Cesinger as chief capital officer and Brandon Hatfield as chief investment officer and global principal. Valor Hospitality Partners is a full-service, global hospitality firm that hopes that the brand will continue to execute its vision and projected growth to create meaningful experiences thanks to these changes in leadership. 

BOSTON: Citizens and Fenway Music group have announced that the bank is now a sponsor of House of Blues Boston on Lansdowne Street. They hope that the new partnership will further the existing collaboration with the Music Forward Foundation. House of Blues Boston is now the fifth sponsored venue under Citizens Live, a music and entertainment program in partnership with Crossroads Presents that offers its customers special benefits. 

CHICAGO: The Drake Oak Brook has launched new late-winter meeting offerings at the English-style hotel. These include an elevated s’mores tasting that's available for private group bookings; private igloo “Think Tanks,” which include roundtable seating for six, a private wait-staff, and more; and a Winter Warm Up Bar serving hot cocoa, apple cider, hot pretzels, and more. 

ORLANDO, FLA.: Visit Orlando has announced the appointment of Mario J. Bass as its new chief operating officer. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Bass joins Visit Orlando from Visit San Antonio, where he spent the previous five years. At Visit Orlando—the official tourism association of Orlando, Fla.—Bass will oversee internal operations, lead and implement strategic initiatives, and uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values. 

SANTA FE, N.M.: Bishop’s Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection announced Missy Auge as its new wine director. In the role, Auge will oversee wine operations for the 100-room, historic, luxury resort. After more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry around the country, Auge is returning to her home state of New Mexico to assume the position.
