US: Gracious Hospitality Management's New Senior Leadership, Vivienne Tam's Partnership with Vatom, Vault Home Collection's New Luxury Hotel, and More

GLOBAL: TAIT, a global group of designers, fabricators, engineers, and innovators for live and location-based experiences, announced changes to its leadership. Gemma Hodgson, who first joined TAIT in 2006, has been promoted to chief commercial officer. Additionally, Jess Chalifoux has joined TAIT as the vice president of global business development, bringing with her 20 years of experience as a lead agency partner to clients all over the globe. 

NATIONAL: California-based Web3 company Vatom has announced a partnership with international fashion brand Vivienne Tam. Together, Vivenne Tam and Vatom are bringing immersive metaverse experiences to NYFW throughout the month of February. (NYFW officially took place Feb. 10-15.) The partnership will be ongoing to enhance future runway experiences with Vatom’s technology, cross-chain wallet, and scalable virtual space capabilities, which allow metaverse-based venues to host thousands of people at once—all while supporting Vatom's introduction of Web3 to the fashion world.

NEW YORK: Gracious Hospitality Management has announced changes to its senior leadership team. Alex Munoz-Suarezhas joined the company as chief operating officer. He brings experience from previous leadership roles, including president of Momofuku, CEO of Fuku, and president of the Pacific division for Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group (BBHG). Also new to the team, Kent Krekorian has been named Gracious Hospitality Management’s chief financial officer, and Jacqueline Hensel is the new vice president of marketing and communications. Before joining the team, Krekorian worked as ​CFO for SimpleReach, while Hensel served as the director of marketing and food council at City Harvest. 

SALT LAKE CITY: Sodexo Live!, the hospitality partner to the Salt Palace Convention Center managed by ASM Global, has announced its plans to debut AiFi's autonomous store technology for all meetings, events, and conferences in the facility. With this, the convention center's on-site store, the Salt Shaker Grab-and-Go, will allow shoppers to enter the store, make their selections, and walk out without having to wait in any lines. AiFi will offer on-the-go attendees a way to access to quick-serve items created by Sodexo Live!’s culinary team during busy conventions. 

TELLURIDE, COLO.: Vault Home Collection is developing a new luxury hotel, Six Senses, in Mountain Village, Colo., a small ski town that can be accessed via a 15-minute Gondola ride from Telluride, or by car via Highway 145 South. Six Senses plans to open the property in winter 2026. Upon opening, the Six Senses outpost will have 82 suites and 20 residences and will be home to more than 50 employees. Amenities will include various fine-dining restaurants, plus a pool bar, lobby bistro, speakeasy led by award-winning chefs, luxurious spa, wedding venue, conference spaces, a private ski lounge, ski services, and more.
