This year's tagline is "Amazing," meant to celebrate the amazing people, places, businesses, attractions, experiences, and destinations that make up England’s tourism sector.
BANFF: Mark your calendars: The first annual Banff Food and Cocktail Festival is slated for April 10-23. Produced by Made With Love in partnership with Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, the festival aims to celebrate the vibrant local food and cocktail scene. Expect curated events and special cocktail menus available in all participating restaurants.
CALGARY: YYC Food & Drink Experience, Calgary’s premiere culinary festival, is returning this year from March 17-26. The event will feature 70 of Calgary’s favorite restaurants, which will be offering multi-course prix fixe menus along with curated event experiences. Participating hotels include The Dorian and Alt Hotel East Village.
MONTRÉAL: The first Hyatt Centric hotel in Canada, Hyatt Centric Ville-Marie Montréal, is officially open to the public. Centrally located in the heart of Old Montréal, the hotel boasts 177 upscale guest rooms (including five suites), a signature restaurant fusing Québec and British cuisines, and a rooftop pool slated to open summer 2023.
TORONTO: Great Canadian Entertainment recently announced that it will open Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, a $1 billion, brand-new entertainment resort at the intersection of Highways 401 and 427 this summer. Expect a 400-room hotel, a 5,000-seat live entertainment venue, and multiple on-site dining options. The existing Casino Woodbine will continue to operate with no interruption until Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto debuts.
