GLOBAL: Atlantis Paradise Island has appointed Liliana Dale as its new director of national accounts in the international segment. She brings two decades of experience in hospitality, meetings, and revenue management to her new role, a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in hospitality and tourism management, and language fluency in Romanian as well as conversational abilities in French and Italian.

MONTREAL: Montreal-based Ecorecreo announced that it will develop and operate Aquarium de Montréal, set to open in 2024. The aquarium will be located in Montreal’s midtown and plans to lead in innovation and create immersive experiences for guests.
The Cole Foundation’s Intercultural Conversations-Conversations Interculturelles disperses hundreds of thousands of dollars to support professional Montreal theater companies twice a year. This past fall, 11 companies were granted $190,200. The spring grant takes place in April, and the deadline for the next competition of the award is Friday, March 31, at 5 p.m. Applications can be downloaded from the Cole Foundation’s website.
