US: ParkMobile at New Orleans Convention Center, New York Hotels Celebrate Pride, Visit Greater Palm Springs' Mentor Program, and More

CHICAGO: The Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP) has announced a multiplatform partnership with SI Tickets, the fan-first ticketing site from Sports Illustrated, which will now serve as the official ticketing provider of the APP and the official home of primary ticket sales for all 2023 APP Tour events, starting with the 2023 APP Newport Beach Open. APP Tour tickets will be available through Box Office by SI Tickets, an event management platform and primary ticketing solution powered by blockchain technology. 

NEW ORLEANS: The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center has announced a new partnership with ParkMobile, a provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group. As a result of this new partnership, event attendees and guests to the convention center can now reserve and pay for parking before their visit via ParkMobile’s online parking reservations and digital payment platform. Users can also pay for parking on-site through the ParkMobile app.

NEW YORK: Hotels in New York City are offering celebratory packages for LGBTQ+ travelers and allies alike for Pride Month. Available for the entire month of June, NoMo SoHo, Kimpton Hotel Eventi, and InterContinental New York Barclay are providing NYC visitors and locals special offerings, services, and amenities to be proud of this June. This includes suites decorated with Pride decor and special swag upon check-in, celebratory cocktails for two, and photo moments.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIF.: Visit Greater Palm Springs (VGPS) has launched its inaugural “Meet the Mentors” program, which pairs aspiring travel writers looking to jump-start their careers with accomplished media established in the industry. Through this program, VGPS will provide selected participants with memorable travel experiences in the destination, mentorship from real-world travel journalists, and the opportunity for attendees to get their work published. The selected media mentors have written for top travel publications including Travel + Leisure, Travel Noire, Modern Luxury, and more. 

SANTA ANA PUEBLO, N.M.: Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa—a resort located on 550 acres of the Santa Ana Pueblo between Albuquerque and Santa Fe—has announced New Mexico-inspired experiences for meetings and events. Groups can take part in a variety of activities ranging from hot air balloon rides and chile roasting to horseback riding and "Wine & Watercolor" classes.
