Described as the Niagara Cluster, the region is made up of an extensive network, or "cluster," of industries where intense economic activities can boost innovation and growth. TORONTO: Liberty Entertainment Group announced that all of its restaurant properties have been honored for their outstanding wine programs in Wine Spectator’s 2023 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the world’s best restaurants for wine. Don Alfonso 1890 won the Best of Award of Excellence, in addition to the company’s award-winning BlueBlood Steakhouse, located in Toronto’s historic landmark Casa Loma. And the company’s three locations of Cibo Wine Bar were honored with the Award of Excellence.
The first phase of Great Canadian Toronto opened on June 20, unveiling a new gaming floor featuring 4,800 slot machines, 145 table games, a variety of dining options, and a 3,800-space parkade. Its next phase will include the opening of the Poker Room at Great Canadian Toronto later this summer, and the opening of the brand-new, 400-room The Hotel at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto on Aug. 1.
