EDMONTON: EMBFest is back. Sept. 8-10 will mark three days of celebrating mountain biking in Edmonton. Eventgoers can enjoy group rides and sessions, live music, fundraisers, and more. The 2023 festival will feature the largest mountain biking lifestyle event in the Edmonton area. Unique to the 2023 festival are mountain bike races right in the river valley and Light The Trail, an interactive trail of lights and sound.
OTTAWA: Afrofestival Ottawa—a free festival giving African Canadian artists a chance to showcase their talents in music, comedy, fashion design, spoken word, drumming, dance, and photography—will take place Sept. 8-9 at Mooney’s Bay Park. The event will feature authentic food from local vendors, music, fashion, activities for children, arts and crafts, live performances from local and international talent, a marketplace, and much more.
TORONTO: Creative Group announced that it has been named to MeetingsNet's 2023 CMI 25 list, recognizing the largest full-service meeting and incentive travel management companies focused on the U.S. corporate market. In aggregate, the companies on the 2023 CMI 25 list reported executing close to 85,000 corporate meetings and nearly 3,000 incentive travel programs in 2022.
On Sept. 9, the 44th annual Cabbagetown Festival will return for the first time since 2019. VANCOUVER: Light Up Chinatown! is a free two-day outdoor festival with special live performances, top food trucks, colorful lights and lanterns, and fun activities for all ages. This year's fest takes place Sept. 9-10 in Vancouver's Chinatown, between East Pender and Keefer streets and neighboring streets.
