What I do: As a visual storyteller, I educate meeting professionals on how they can best communicate their organization’s value year-round through powerful video content. In addition, I partner with organizations to help them generate revenue through our creative services.
How I got here: I got my start in the industry at 22 years old. I quickly fell in love with this industry, built lifelong friendships and felt compelled to lead in my own way after becoming unhappy working for a previous employer. Although I never considered myself an entrepreneur, I always knew I had a knack for leadership and that providing opportunities for others to excel in their career was something that gave me pure joy.
Greatest career accomplishment: My greatest career accomplishment happens every time I hire a new person to join my team. It’s truly the most fulfilling feeling to know that you are affecting someone’s livelihood and more importantly, that you get to play a role in how empowered and confident they feel as they flourish in their profession.
Impressive stats: Through our video content services, we have helped organizations generate more than $100,000 in added revenue a year, and that’s a great feeling!
What I am working on now: I am really excited to be working with a brand new trade show and conference called Made in America taking place in Indianapolis this October. Our team is aiding with some video marketing components and assisting with exhibit booth sales. It’s a new avenue for us but a really great opportunity to expand on our services and try something new!
What I do outside of work: I currently serve in many volunteer roles which include serving on the MPI Global Board of Trustees, serving as the co-chair of the MPI Women’s Advisory Board and the vice president of marketing and communications for the MPI Greater Orlando Chapter and soon-to-be president-elect for our chapter for the 2019-2020 year! These roles keep me pretty busy, but outside of industry-related obligations, my happy place is anywhere with my husband and our two dogs, Daisy and Duke!
