What I do: “My role is to help our clients and partners understand the value of changing up their culture so participants’ learning becomes anchored in relationships rather than in the broadcasting of knowledge. E-180 encourages like-minded people to share knowledge face to face, one on one.”
How she got here: Renaud studied education as a Knox Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education, focusing on informal learning. She’s co-founder of the Montreal chapter of Technovation Challenge, an international competition teaching young girls to build apps that change their communities. “I’m also an adviser for multiple emerging tech or social enterprises, notably in the context of the Harvard Innovation Lab and Founder Institute.”
What inspires me: “A mild obsession with helping people bloom and an uncommon excitement for the moment when something is unlocked [for them].”
Next up: “We’re developing a new magazine focused on informal learning that we will share with our clients in the event space to help them get a fresh perspective on their role as educators.”
Next-level idea: “E-180 transforms events into peer-learning hubs through Brain Dates, which are one-on-one, knowledge-sharing meetups. We help event participants learn from each other, not only the expert onstage.”
