Forgive Dadey if he feels like he’s seen it all some days, but the 27-year-old’s experience belies his age. The Vegas-based event professional has already run the gamut of the meetings industry, starting out at a destination management company, later becoming sales manager at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino and now planning events for the American Gem Society. The organization’s crown jewel is its annual four-day Conclave event, for which he organizes lodging, selects keynote speakers, executes the PR and coordinates more than 100 educational sessions, among other duties. “Having been on all sides of the industry has helped me excel in my position,” says the shining star, who is also in charge of the group’s annual awards dinner at New York City’s famed Plaza Hotel.
