Repass is a go-getter, having landed her position at Social Tables by first knocking on the CEO’s door—and then cold-pitching a new idea to work alongside universities offering event management and hospitality programs, working as an unpaid associate and, finally, proving she could come through on her promises. At age 28, Repass now runs more than 50 trade shows, and her team’s industry-specific blog content reaches more than 26,000 people each month. “Her passion for the industry is unparalleled,” says Trevor Lynn, Repass’ co-worker and a 2014 Connect 40 Under 40 honoree. Prior to joining Social Tables in 2014, Repass directed events and fundraising for former Illinois Rep. Bobby Schilling. When asked what the future holds for her career, the CMP confidently says she has no idea. “I’m excited to see what life has in store for me, as opposed to trying to structure my plan based upon the finite information I have today about what the future could look like,” she shares.
