This June will mark Gunn’s 20th anniversary with Wells Fargo, where she started as a bank teller her freshman year of college. The daughter of two lawyers, it seemed only natural to follow in their footsteps—and she was accepted into law school. “Leading up to that, I co-founded a nonprofit organization focused on promoting high-quality music for young composers in college,” Gunn says. “Planning, promoting, and producing concerts and albums gave me the experience I needed when deciding to apply for a temporary job as a meeting and event planner for Wells Fargo.” Three months after starting the nonprofit, she told her parents law school wasn’t going to happen. Two decades later, Gunn is part of a group that oversees more than 500 member events and meetings per year for Wells Fargo leaders.
