This fall, Montage Beverly Hills is expected to open within walking distance of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Interior design firm Darrell Schmitt Design Associates is behind the hotel’s look, which will include Spanish-, Italian-, and Moroccan-inspired furnishings in a palette of gold, salmon, coral, and cream.

The 201 guest rooms will reflect the look of a vintage estate with dark wood furniture, crown moldings, and custom chaises; modern touches include LCD televisions. The property will also have a 5,000-square-foot ballroom, a rooftop conservatory with space for 40, and a two-level spa with a mineral pool and yoga studio. On the lower level, the dining room and loggia will hold as many as 80 for seated events, and a chef’s table inside the European-style kitchen (which will have an old stone fireplace) will offer private dining for 16. Upstairs, a formal restaurant with space for 44 will feature Mediterranean-inspired cuisine from executive chef John Cuevas, and a private dining room will seat 20.
