Wood Dale's TopGolf, which offers a live-ball driving range with computerized scoring, got a rooftop beer garden in August. Equipped with a fire pit, a live-performance area, and 26 hitting bays, the alfresco space can host events for 150. Menu items for tee-table service include mini steak burgers, guacamole with homemade chips, and spiked Arnold Palmers.
Open since 2007, the venue's lower levels house three areas that can host private events: Its executive suites hold 100, the Bayview lounge has space for 80, and a meeting room with a 52-inch flat-screen TV and Polycom conference equipment holds 14. The entire venue can host private functions for 600.
