Dan Noyce is the 31-year-old senior sales relationship manager at IMEX Group. He also serves as the president of MPI’s United Kingdom & Ireland Chapter. He’s based in Hove, England.
My career journey:
I moved into our industry five years ago from a totally different one. I had a friend in the industry who always told me this was for me. I needed a change, and this led me to IMEX.
I fell in love with this organization and have never looked back. I've always taught my first born that you can do anything as long as you are happy and a good person. I wasn't happy with my career, so [I] decided to walk the walk and that led me to move into the business events industry—the best decision I have ever made. I've met a lot of great leaders and mentors along the way who I have learned a lot from, and continue to learn from every day.
What my day-to-day looks like:
Looking for new opportunities in the market. Working with my amazing clients from all over the world—from hotel chains to destinations, tech companies to airlines, and many more. Working with my team to deliver the hosted buyer program for both IMEX Frankfurt and IMEX America, and working day-to-day as the president of MPI United Kingdom & Ireland alongside an exceptional board of directors.
My greatest career accomplishment:
Becoming part of the PCMA 20 in its Twenties program back in 2021. I learned so much from this; it opened many doors for me, and I have met a group of people I call friends.
PCMA is an excellent organization that brings everyone together—I couldn't recommend this program enough to anyone, and I have continued to be a part of the review committee as I believe in it so much.
My most memorable event:
IMEX America 2021—the first IMEX after the pandemic. It was something very special.

Empowerment. Being the CEO of your own role and being trusted to make decisions. Lead by example on discussing “mistakes” or what you would do differently. Teamwork and strong team harmony are key to my team's success.
The advice I would give my younger self:
Take it all in. There is so much out there if you are willing to put the time in. Volunteer with your local associations, as you will learn from the best and build a network for life.
Network, network, network! Relationships are everything.
My ideal day OOO:
A family day with my fiancée and our two little boys. Or a day watching football—soccer—supporting Arsenal!
What’s next for me:
The sky is the limit.
I want to continue to lead this industry, to inspire young professionals to chase their dreams in the business events industry, and to help us evolve with change and become the best versions of ourselves. I want to continue my work with industry associations on a global level and keep driving forward—together.
