
On the heels of Steve Hanson's Blue Fin--the giant seafood restaurant at the W New York -- Times Square--the B.R. Guest restaurateur is opening Fiamma, his take on an Italian osteria, with chef Michael White. Opening in March, the inviting Spring Street venue has a main dining room with exposed brick walls, circular light fixtures and a dark, muted color scheme. The second floor offers its own full bar and nearly twice as much dining space, and the third floor, which is reserved for events, is equipped with private restrooms and a separate kitchen. --Suzanne Ito
