With Easter around the corner, here's a look at six fresh, vibrant ideas for celebrating the holiday in style. And though the bunny leaves town in April, these ideas—which range from presenting desserts on a bed of grass to gifting guests with zebra-striped chocolates—can be plucked or reinterpreted to add spring ambiance to events throughout the season.

Wolfgang Puck Catering has set up its playful Easter Egg display at events including bridal shows and the 2012 Governors Ball in Los Angeles. Displayed on a springlike bed of grass, the dish tucked vanilla-and-wild-strawberry cake into gilded eggshells; tiny lavender macarons topped each treat. The company can also use the eggs to hold savory snacks.

The Peninsula Chicago is gearing up for its big Easter brunch on Sunday, which has the theme "Around the World in 80 Days" and will feature everything from sashimi to passion-fruit coconut cake. Last year's brunch (pictured) had an "Alice in Wonderland" theme. The sweets station held cupcakes, macarons, cotton candy, assorted tarts, and more. A giant, mint-green egg topped the station.

Okay, so they're not Easter decorations per se, but these little nests, accented with Robins egg-blue napkins, are an example of springtime decor that incorporates eggs. Susan Kelly of Three Sisters Flowers and Events in Palo Alto, California, designed this table for a wedding showcase that takes place annually right around Easter.
