#1 Beauty Industry Event (up from #2)
This year marks the 100th anniversary of I.B.S. New York, the longest running event of its kind. With more than 500 top beauty companies represented and 150 educational classes, the show targets beauty industry professionals who come to learn what’s new and next. The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center will once again provide a backdrop for the event. Next: March 12-14, 2017
#2 Beauty Industry Event
Six hundred guests turn out each year to celebrate fragrances from around the world. The awards recognize achievements in categories including packaging, bath and body, and social media. Next: Summer 2017
#3 Beauty Industry Event
The Hot Pink Party moves to the Park Avenue Armory this year from its longtime home at the Waldorf Astoria. More than 1,200 of the city’s most prominent philanthropists and celebrities will convene to raise money for breast cancer research. Elizabeth Hurley will once again host the evening, which in 2016 featured a performance from Elton John. Next: May 12, 2017
