CHICAGO: The 28th annual Dance for Life raised more than $300,000 for Dancers’ Fund, which supports members of the dance community facing critical health issues. The event, which took place August 17 at the Auditorium Theatre, drew more than 3,100 guests.
LAS VEGAS: Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will open a revamped Terra Rosa on August 26. The Italian restaurant will seat as many as 185 guests in a main dining room and outdoor patio, as well as 15 in a private dining room.

NEW YORK: I.M.G. has unveiled preliminary programming for New York Fashion Week: The Shows, which runs September 4-11 at Spring Studios and venues throughout the city. Initial events include the third season of N.Y.F.W.: The Talks, with talent including the cast of E!’s Front Five and Negin Mirsalehi. A special event will be Breakfast of Champions, presented by Wheaties, featuring Serena Williams and Bozoma Saint John.
Rihanna’s fifth annual Diamond Ball, benefiting the Clara Lionel Foundation, will take place September 12 at Cipriani Wall Street. Hosted by Seth Meyers, the event will feature performances by Pharrell Williams and DJ Khaled.
Breast Cancer Research Foundation will honor Vera Wang and Eric Winer at its Symposium and Awards Luncheon, taking place October 17 at New York Hilton Midtown. Elle editor-in-chief Nina Garcia will host the event.
