CHICAGO: Environmental nonprofit Chicago Gateway Green will hold its annual Green Tie Ball on September 13 at Alhambra Palace.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Parkinson’s Foundation will host Night at the Market, a culinary fund-raiser, on October 23 at the Lincoln Eatery. Participating chefs include Aarón Sánchez, Sue Torres, and Michael Schwartz.

WASHINGTON: The Bethesdan Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property, is set to open this month in downtown Bethesda. The hotel will have 270 guest rooms and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
