BOSTON: The Satanic Temple will host its first public Halloween experience, “Hell House,” on Fridays and Saturdays in October at its headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts. The ticketed event will feature 30-minute shows that include live performers and multimedia elements.

Moxy Boston Downtown has opened in the Theater District. The hotel has 340 guest rooms, a second-floor restaurant, and a rooftop lounge available for private events. 

DENVER: The Global Down Syndrome Foundation will host its 11th annual Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show on November 2 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The event is billed as the largest Down syndrome fund-raiser in the world, drawing 1,400 attendees and raising more than $18 million to date. 

LOS ANGELES: The 10th annual Amfar Gala Los Angeles will take place October 10 at Milk. Alan Cumming will host the event and Christina Aguilera will perform. The event is produced by Josh Wood Productions and managed by Stamp Event Management.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Hospitality group Sbe will hold its third annual Taste of Sbe Miami on November 8 at Delano South Beach. John Legend will perform at the event, which will serve food from the Bazaar, Carna, Katsuya, UmamiBurger, and more. 

NEW YORK: The Rink at Rockefeller Center will open for its 83rd season on October 12.

Artnet will host a 30th anniversary event on October 29 at the Top of the Standard.

Sci-fi expo WinterCon will run November 22-24 at Resorts World Casino N.Y. in Jamaica, Queens. 

Etc.venues, a London-based urban conference and events venues group, has signed a long term commitment with Boston Properties for 30,000 square feet on the 14th floor at 601 Lexington Avenue. The venue will be remodeled and have a separate address and entrance at 153 East 53rd Street. It initially will only be available to a dedicated client, with plans to open the venue to a wider market in early 2021.

WASHINGTON: The 33rd annual Leukemia Ball will take place March 21, 2020, at the Marriott Marquis. The event will honor Larry Michael with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (L.L.S.) 2020 James L. Eichberg Lifetime Achievement Award.
