AUSTIN: The 55th annual Austin Trail of Lights holiday festival will run December 10-23. Sponsored by H-E-B, the festival features two million lights, 90 holiday trees, and more than 70 holiday displays.

LOS ANGELES: The 35th Santa Barbara International Film Festival, presented by Ugg, will take place January 15-25, 2020. The festival will honor Renée Zellweger with the American Riviera Award and Martin Scorcese with the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film.

MONTREAL: HideSeek, an immersive pop-up experience inspired by childhood nostalgia, will open October 12 at 4301 Rue St-Denis. The ticketed pop-up, which has 12 installations, will run for two months. 

NEW YORK: Say: The Stuttering Association for the Young will hold Paul Rudd’s eighth annual All-Star Bowling Benefit on November 11 at Lucky Strike. The event raises funds for Say’s program that helps young people who stutter. 

American Dream, a retail and entertainment complex opening in Meadowlands, New Jersey, has partnered with N.Y. Waterway to provide ferry-bus service from Manhattan. N.Y. Waterway’s free shuttle buses will take guests to the West 39th Street Midtown Ferry Terminal for a ferry ride across the Hudson River to Port Imperial in Weehawken, New Jersey. Dedicated buses will take guests from Port Imperial to American Dream.

TAMPA: Tampa Marriott Water Street has completed an 18-month renovation and expansion. The project includes renovations to the hotel’s 727 guest rooms and more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space.

TORONTO: The 33rd Whole Life Expo will take place November 8-10 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre. 

WASHINGTON: The National Building Museum will close December 2 for renovations to its Great Hall. The museum will reopen in spring 2020.
