CHICAGO: Fairmont Chicago, Milennium Park has appointed William Schultz as executive chef. The 15-year veteran of the kitchen previously worked at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and the Mirage. He will bring Southern cuisine to the 687-room property.
LAS VEGAS: 360 Destination Group is opening a Las Vegas office. The destination management firm has tapped local event management professional Elizabeth (Liz) Hansen to run the location. She brings 15 years of experience to 360 and will serve as director of sales.
LOS ANGELES: Thrillist will host a "100 Course Meal" at Hudson Loft downtown on December 6 to 8. The elaborate, multi-sensory dinner party describes itself as "the musical chairs of dinner"—every time the music stops, guests will get up from the table and interact with the likes of drone bartenders, a laser art studio, and other theatrical elements. Overall, guests will eat 10 dinner courses from chefs from Konbi, Coolhaus, the H.wood Group, and more. The event is the brainchild of Michael Cirino of A Razor/A Shiny Knife.
