INDUSTRY NEWS: A congressional spending bill proposing the renewal of Brand USA, which promotes travel worldwide to the United States, has passed with flying colors. The legislation secures the organization’s future through 2027.

BOSTON: Hyatt Regency Boston has promoted Chahrazade Benkada to business travel sales manager. She most recently served as sales and events office manager at the property. Benkada started her Hyatt career in 2014 as a PBX Operator. She later moved into a role at the front desk and was then promoted to systems administrator.

INDIANAPOLIS: Hyatt Regency Indianapolis has completed the first phase of its multimillion-dollar renovation. The upgrade includes the 499-room property’s improvement of its more than 35,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, revolving rooftop restaurant the Eagle's Nest, ground floor restaurants, lobby, and fitness center.

LOS ANGELES: Chef Ricardo Zarate is the new culinary partner at Mama Lion in Koreatown. The renowned chef will work with owner Robert Kim to create a tapas-style menu with Peruvian, Asian, and Latin influences.

TORONTO: Come Up To My Room, the Gladstone Hotel's alternative design exhibition, will return January 16 to 19. This year's exhibition features 24 immersive works created by over 42 artists.
