Industry News: Questlove's Potluck, a New Sustainability-Focused Hotel, Virtual Performances From Governors Ball, and More

NATIONAL: On May 28, Questlove will host "Questlove’s Potluck," a televised special airing on the Food Network. The one-hour dinner party, which raises funds for America’s Food Fund, will virtually bring together some of Questlove’s friends—including Hannibal Buress, Zooey Deschanel, Tiffany Haddish, Olivia Wilde, and more—to cook, share recipes, and eat some of their favorite dishes.

ATLANTA: A Tempo by Hilton hotel—Hilton's new hotel lifestyle brand—will open in April 2022 within Dunwoody's 84 Perimeter development, with food and beverage offerings curated by Blau & Associates. The sustainability-forward hotel will feature environmentally friendly practices such as LightStay, food waste programs, responsible seafood sourcing, hydration stations throughout the property, and full-size bath amenity dispensers to reduce disposable plastics.

LOS ANGELES: The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills has launched a remote co-working concept. Dubbed “Office at the London West Hollywood,” the program converts some of the hotel’s larger suites—those 725 square feet or more—into private office spaces that can be rented on a monthly basis. Offices will be available for occupancy starting June 1, and will feature a work desk, high-speed Internet, valet parking, and other amenities.
