ATLANTA: The University of Georgia has opened a new Innovation Hub as part of a quest for its Innovation District to span more than 10 buildings across the campus and Downtown Athens. The $4.4 million, 10,000-square-foot building was created to foster the university’s continued pursuit of innovation, as well as to support local startups and host events.
BIG SKY, MONT: Big Sky Resort is offering an innovative way for guests to attend conferences and work from the hotel with its new Chairlift and Mountain Meetings. Conferences once held in the 55,000-square-foot Yellowstone Conference Center can now be livestreamed directly to the resort’s guest rooms using the newest virtual meeting technology. To further overcome challenges set by the pandemic, Big Sky has announced plans for a significant renovation of two base-area hotels to be better suited for remote working.
BOSTON: Boston Seaport has launched its newest art installation, dubbed "Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0," now on display at Seaport Common until March 14. The exhibit consists of 16 three-dimensional red structures inspired by the markets of Latin America and designed to reflect the meaning of home.
LAS VEGAS: The Silver Legacy Resort Casino at The Row Reno has unveiled plans to remodel its 1,199 guest rooms. The projected $47 million renovation will be complete in summer 2021, and will flaunt new furnishings, updated window treatments, bathroom remodeling, and new carpeting and flooring, plus the addition of art, decor and more.
ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: Orlando’s Museum of Illusions is adding Valentine’s Day decor to its exhibits throughout the month of February to make for the perfect themed, social media-worthy photos. With over 50 interactive, immersive exhibits, the experience teaches visitors about the human brain and tricks of perception based on math, science and psychology.
