CALGARY: The Miracle on First Street pop-up bar is returning this holiday season. Proof Cocktail Bar will host the pop-up, which started on Nov. 18 and will run until Dec. 24. Special Christmas cocktails with names including Elfing Around and SanTa Rex will be available for consumption amongst kitschy holiday decor.
MONTREAL: The Canadian Grand Prix is returning to the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve after a two-year hiatus. The race will take place from June 17-19, and tickets will be available to purchase online or by phone on Dec. 6.
TORONTO: The Toronto Made Market: Holiday Edition will be hybrid this year. Guests can enjoy vendors in person starting Dec. 19, with virtual activities starting Dec. 1. There will be 50 vendors and complimentary hot chocolate as well as items for purchase including soap, jewelry, clothing and more. The holiday market is family-friendly and will be held at the Great Hall.
VANCOUVER: Lumagica, a walk-through indoor and outdoor light experience, will run from Dec. 3-30 (other than Christmas Day) at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. While walking through a 1-kilometer light display complete with interactive installations, animations and photo ops, guests can enjoy holiday food and beverages including mulled wine and hot chocolate as well as eggnog cannoli and Christmas winter waffles.
VAUGHAN, ONTARIO: Holiday Fair in the Square will be held at Assembly Park in Vaughan this year to allow more space for all its new features. The event is in its fifth year and features over 100,000 led light fixtures in more than 175,000 square feet of space. Some highlights include the Nights of Lights walkthrough light show, the Holiday Midway carnival and the Artisan Marketplace, along with special food and beverage experiences. The event opens on Nov. 26 and will run until Jan. 2.
