NATIONAL: Following a successful Lollapalooza stream in 2021, Hulu will extend its collaboration with Live Nation to serve as the official streaming destination for three of C3 Presents’ biggest music festivals in 2022 and 2023: Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Music Festival. For each festival, select performances will be livestreamed exclusively to Hulu SVOD (subscription video on demand) subscribers at no additional cost. Additionally, behind-the-scenes footage will be available for users of the streaming service.
CHICAGO: Cocktail bar The Parlour at The Albion will welcome Brooklyn’s Reverie, a burlesque and variety show, on May 26 at 8 p.m. Set to music by Brooklyn Britches and The Whispers, the performance will transport the audience into a dreamy state of wonder and awe. Attendees aged 21 and over are encouraged to dress to impress, and tickets are $20 per person for reservations with up to five guests.
MIAMI: Cold brew coffee liqueur brand Mr Black will host an Espresso Martini Fest in Miami now through May 22, where a slew of participating venues will be mixing up unique variations of the coffee-based cocktail. The event was launched in Australia in 2016 and kicked off this year's edition on May 16. Participating venues include Orilla in South Beach, the Broken Shaker, Wynwood's Doya, Better Days, Greenstreet Cafe, Bay 13 Brewery, the Sylvester, Beaker & Gray, and the Scapegoat. Patrons looking to try participating spaces' espresso martinis can RSVP to the Espresso Martini Fest online, and will receive their drinks for $12.
NEW YORK: The NoMo SoHo hotel and its ownership, global real estate and investment firm Sapir Corp Ltd., are launching a curated NFT, which makes the hotel the first in the U.S. to offer guests an innovative new way to book stays using blockchain technology. Guests of NoMo SoHo who chose these packages will have special access to exclusive preferred rates by purchasing an NFT depicting a recognizable part of the hotel.
