EDMONTON: BOMFEST! 2022 will be held at the Edmonton Expo Centre June 24-25. Headliners include artists like Rezz, Diplo, Chris Lake, and Don Diablo. This 18+ event varies in ticket price according to which pass is purchased. MONTREAL: Festival Bloomsday Montréal, the largest Bloomsday Festival outside of Dublin itself, will take place June 11-16. This year marks the 11th edition of Festival Bloomsday Montréal. Montrealers and others from all around the world are invited to this Irish culture fest rich in music, literature, cuisine, discussion, and art. This year honors 100 year since Ulysses, James Joyce’s masterpiece, was published. Book readings will be conducted on Bloomsday (June 16) by local actors and Joyce enthusiasts. Most activities will be available on a hybrid basis (both in person and through Zoom livestreaming).
TORONTO: Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) will return to in-person events June 17-19 at the Toronto Reference Library. To celebrate TCAF’s 20th anniversary, it will mark the first-ever hybrid festival; virtual events will be held June 17-26. Guests can enjoy an improved online marketplace, hearing from different speakers, learning about different comics, and more. Admission to this event is free of cost.
VANCOUVER: After being rescheduled from Feb. 15-17, Just For Laughs Vancouver, in association with SiriusXM, will be held May 25-29 in various venues across Vancouver. Headliners include Nicole Byer, Marc Maron, Andrew Santino, Maria Bamford, Jimmy O. Yang, and Roy Wood JR. Tickets for this event can be purchased online.
