EDMONTON: From the producers of the Imagine Van Gogh and Imagine Picasso exhibits, a new immersive art exhibit, Imagine Monet, will launch in Edmonton on June 8. Featuring more than 200 masterpieces from the French painter Claude Monet, Imagine Monet will run through Sept. 2, and a media day will be held on June 7 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Tickets can be purchased on Imagine Monet’s website, and pricing starts at $34.95.

MONTREAL: Montreal’s MURAL Festival returns to St. Laurent Boulevard for its 10th edition June 9-19. Both international and local talents will be featured at the 10-day event—which aims to democratize urban art—including headliner Shepard Fairey. Throughout the festival, outdoor performances will take place in downtown Montreal featuring different genres of music, and various artists will also be on-site showcasing their work. Tickets to the MURAL Festival can be purchased on the event's website.

TORONTO: Hilton Hotels launched a one-bedroom pop-up hotel room at this year's RBC Canadian Open and coined the experience “Hilton on the Green.” After entering a contest, chosen winners will get to stay the night on the course’s third hole green. Lucky guests will also experience a personal concierge and golf cart, gourmet meals delivered directly to their room, breakfast in bed, and more. Running from June 6-12,  the pop-up hotel room was custom-built using Canadian-sourced materials. This event will be held June 6-12.

On June 15, guests are encouraged to join TL Insider for a tasting menu-style dinner at Mimi Chinese on Davenport Road. Food, courtesy of chefs David Schwartz, Braden Chong, and Mimi’s team, will nod to some of the oldest cuisines in the world and feature dishes such as house-made lap cheong and stir-fried Hakka abacus seed.

VANCOUVER: The Honda Celebration of Light will return to Vancouver as an in-person, week-long festival featuring the world’s largest offshore fireworks competition. This year Japan, Canada, and Spain will compete, and beginning at 10 p.m. each night, fireworks will light up the sky above the English Bay. The winning team will be announced on Aug. 2.
