US: Condé Nast Traveler’s No. 1 Resort in the World, Marriott Theatre’s 2023 Programming, a Show on Halloween Night in New York, and More

GLOBAL: Condé Nast Traveler has named Ireland’s Adare Manor the No. 1 Resort in the World. Located in County Limerick, the celebrated castle resort features an on-site Michelin-starred restaurant, Tom Fazio, as well as a golf course, spa and clinic, and 840 acres of countryside. For groups looking to gather at Adare Manor, the property boasts a 4,800-square foot grand ballroom; a boardroom for up to 30; a library with a private dining space to host up to 20; a 28-seat cinema; and The Carriage House Restaurant and Terrace.

CHICAGO: Marriott Theatre has announced programming for its 2023 season, which will take place under the direction of its new executive producer, Peter Blair. The theater, which is Chicago’s longest-running musical theater, will present Big Fish, Damn Yankees, Buddy—The Buddy Holly Story, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Subscriptions for the 2023 season are available as of Oct. 12, and single tickets will go on sale Nov. 15.

KOHALA, HAWAII: The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort has officially appointed Marguerite Heap as its new hotel manager. Heap has 20-plus years of front office experience and, in the new role, will oversee the day-to-day operations at the hotel while providing quality service to guests and visitors. The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort recently unveiled a property-wide renovation, debuting upgrades to its 249 guest rooms, 85,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two swimming pools, and 18-hole golf course.

NEW YORK: Events by RHC, the New York outpost of London-based hospitality group Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, has been announced as the official caterer and events partner of Chelsea Square. Neighbor to the High Line Hotel, Chelsea Square is home to the General Theological Seminary campus and boasts stained glass windows and ornate design details. Events by RHC is also the exclusive caterer for events at Peak, a restaurant and bar located in Hudson Yards.

Midnight Theatre—which opened late September at the 5 Manhattan West development—will be showcasing medium Craig McManus with a live performance on Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. During the show, guests will have the opportunity to experience McManus’s gift of connecting the living with friends and family in spirit. Tickets are available via Midnight Theatre’s website and start at $107.65.
