Greatest career accomplishment:
Becoming one of the first five people within the entire hospitality industry to achieve the designation of CEM-AP.
Impressive stats:
I was fortunate to work with an event that grew from 4,000 attendees to over 18,000 in under five years.
Specific improvement I’ve made:
I suggested a “City Spotlight” activation for an event struggling to keep attendees on the exhibition floor. We implemented a space that would be the home for a city-specific landmark on the exhibit floor. Throughout the show, this spotlight would showcase food, activities or history of the current city. This area continues to grow each year. By implementing this simple yet effective activation it helps keeps attendees on the show floor and get them excited to learn more about the city they’re in without leaving the exhibit hall. My favorite is when we built a working lighthouse for the conference in Baltimore.
