What I do: Supporting business travelers and their organizations to ensure they are able to be their best is my forte.
Greatest career accomplishment: My greatest career accomplishments were being honored with the prestigious awards of Manager of the Year for my local hotel and Elite Performer achieved companywide.
Impressive stats: The hotel had an overall growth of the transient business by 13 percent year-over-year.
Specific improvement I’ve made: When I first arrived to the hotel, the social room block segment was minimal. It was a joy to build the relationships, accounts policies and parameters for this segment. As a result, the production grew more than 100 percent year-over-year. Many of the best practices discovered have become a resource for several of the other hotels looking to improve this segment.
What I am working on: I am excited to take our service to the next level by being more involved with the philanthropic organizations that impact our local community.
What I do outside of work: When I am not working, I enjoy traveling the world with my husband and daughter.
