What I do: I oversee all company departments including creative, marketing and operations. My company creates, plans and manages meetings, incentives and events for primarily fortune 2000 companies.
How I got here: I had worked on the event agency side for 10 years before deciding to take a huge leap of faith and start my own business. I had a vision for a company that would deliver exceptional experiences with a first-class team of planners. I thank my team for allowing me to be where I am today.
Greatest career accomplishment: I am very proud to have been nominated for Best Austin CEO the last two years by the Austin Business Journal.
Impressive stats: We have secured multiyear planning agreements with Fortune 100 clients. Our firm plans more than 50 events per year with some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
What I am working now: We are really excited to hopefully meet our stretch sales goal in 2019. When this happens, the whole company goes on a reward travel trip somewhere tropical with significant others.
What I do outside of work: I currently serve as the vice president of strategy for the SITE Texas Board of Directors. Our company works with several nonprofits in Austin, including Sammy’s House and Caritas. My free time is usually spent on the sofa with a puppy on my lap and a glass of California Cabernet.
