What I do: My team and I work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute all internal and external marketing events, including national conferences, sales meetings, executive meetings, internal employee events and many other types of meetings involving program management and event logistics. My main goal is to ensure that the processes that we use to plan and execute all our meetings are effective, optimal and help achieve our business goals. This includes leading and managing all aspects of event strategy and logistics, from gaining alignment on messaging, to sourcing venues and suppliers, to negotiations, to budgeting, to contracting, to customer relations and everything in-between!
Greatest career accomplishment: After four years of working to justify and create true incentive trips for our internal teams, I shifted our President’s Club program overseas. I am now able to create amazing experiences that our winners compete fiercely to win, since they cannot replicate the experience on their own. We have taken them to Rome and Croatia.
Impressive stats: Within the last three years, I have generated over $1 million in cost savings on travel and meeting programs by focusing on implementing strategic alliances with partners and creating processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
What I do outside of work: I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family but also time lost in a good book. I currently serve on the Board for Camp Odayin, which is a fun, safe and supportive camp for kids with heart disease and I am always actively seeking ways to give back to the community.
