What I do: “A big part of my job is listening to meeting planners to learn what is affecting their industry, organization or meeting.”
How I got here: “I completed one year of hospitality management school at Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, and then finished my bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management at Mount Saint Vincent University in Canada. (I am a native Canadian, eh!) I landed in this position at the CVB after spending some time on the hotel sales side for major brands such as Marriott and Hilton. [In those roles] I frequently partnered with local CVBs, which made it an easy transition.”
Superstar stats: In 2015, Wyckoff surpassed her goal for room night leads by more than 30 percent.
