If you want to get event guests’ creative juices flowing, Pixal Paint from Creative Backstage uses a rear-projection screen and custom paint programs to create life-size art. A modified spray-paint can uses an infrared light to paint digital pixels on a wall-size interactive surface, similar to the graffiti wall at Chanel's store reopening party in New York.
Painting options include a full color palette, different brush shapes and sizes, and other tools. Loadable backgrounds allow users to paint like kids on a coloring page, or the images can be customized with a company logo or other themes or designs. Completed artwork can be saved to a computer, emailed, or printed on site for guests to take home.
The product is available nationwide; pricing varies. A second version of Pixal Paint, debuting in January, will allow two individuals to paint at the same time and include other new features.
