‘Inner Light’ Performance at Intersect by Lexus
On February 27, Grammy-nominated artist Jhené Aiko performed during the launch event of “Inner Light,” a new multi-sensory art installation at
Intersect by Lexus in New York. The experience, designed by conceptual artists
Dave & Gabe, interprets Aiko’s hit song, “Triggered," through a 360-degree sound system with 88 LED columns and an autonomous playing piano. Each of the piano keys is linked to a corresponding light tube that glows with the colors of the seven chakras. “Inner Light” is on display until April 6.

On February 29 and March 1 in New York, Spotify hosted a two-day immersive exhibit-style pop-up titled “Black History Is Now: Phenomenal Black Music” to celebrate genres and generations, ranging from Bob Marley and Mary J. Blige to Lil Nas X and Lizzo. The pop-up featured stories curated by music journalist Jewel Wicker and interactive elements by the Spotify creative team, as well as performances and panels. Spotify also partnered with Levi’s to build a customization station where guests could select patches designed by Joe Freshgoods and Jamilla Okubo to add to their jackets.

Amazon Prime Video's 'Hunters' Promotion
Amazon Prime Video transformed an entire block in Los Angeles's Highland Park neighborhood using period cars, costumed performers, and other props to promote its new series
Hunters, which follows a group of Nazi hunters in 1977 New York. For a screening, Highland Theatres became "The Empire," a throwback space inspired by New York's old-school grindhouse theaters. See more:

Amazon Prime Video's 'Hunters' Promotion
After the screening, fans headed across the street to
Highland Park Bowl, now known as "Hunters Alley." The popular bowling alley—the oldest in Los Angeles—was transformed with branded bowling balls and signage, New York City-inspired food such as pizza and latkes, Coney Island-style performers, on-theme photo ops, and staffers in period costumes. One area of the after-party also included games and photo ops inspired by the old school sideshows made popular in Coney Island. See more:
