1. HX: The Hotel Experience

Held at the Jacob K. Javits Center, HX: The Hotel Experience showcases the latest innovations in hospitality. The show draws more than 4,000 hoteliers and food and beverage industry insiders, who come to connect with vendors selling products ranging from operating supplies to guest amenities to systems designed to improve profitability. Last year, a partnership with the Asian American Hotel Owners Association offered guests new educational programming and networking opportunities. Next: November 8-9, 2020

2. N.Y.U. International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference

The latest trends, economic influences, and forecasted projections drive the agenda at the N.Y.U. International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, for which 2,400 attendees gathered at the New York Marriott Marquis in 2019. One of the year’s highlights came during a Beyond the Boardroom session, where conference chair Jonathan M. Tisch of Loews Hotels led a discussion with Nobu executives Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and Meir Teper. Proceeds from the conference fund student scholarships. Next: May 31-June 2, 2020

3. Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International's Adrian Awards

The H.S.M.A.I. Adrian Awards Dinner Reception and Gala recognizes the year’s best in hospitality sales and marketing, advertising, and public relations. In January, nearly 800 industry guests attended the black-tie event at the New York Marriott Marquis, where winners included teams from Visit Austin, Discover Puerto Rico, DoubleTree by Hilton, United Airlines, and Marriott International.
