Instagram House at Coachella

Instagram hosted its first Coachella party this year, taking over the Pond Estate in Palm Springs on April 13. The social-media platform teamed up with experiential agency Manifold and artist D'ana Nunez of COVL for Instagram Desert Chill. The look of the party centered around Nunez's abstract mural, which drew inspiration from the desert landscape and the 1970s. Ace Hotel’s Desert Gold at Coachella

Ace Hotel held its 11th annual Desert Gold during both weekends of Coachella. The event offered guided meditation, live performances, a comedy night, and more. A highlight was "Quartet," a series of musical compositions generated by the electronic impulses produced by plants. Set Creative’s Sevillian Experience

Earlier this year, experiential agency Set Creative opened a daylong pop-up for the faux orange non-alcoholic drink brand Sevillian. The experience was part of the agency’s impartial research study, commissioned to show how experiential can be a more effective way for brands to communicate with consumers, rather than through print, radio, or TV. Mixologists explained the process of making the signature cocktail to guests, who were sent to tables to make their own version of the drink. They could sit and enjoy the drink while they answered questions for the study. The experience took place at the Parade Room at Pound Kitchen & Bar in Canterbury, U.K. See more: What This Fake Brand's Pop-Up Can Teach Us About the Power of Events

The pop-up, which is open to the public through April 27, was designed by Tiffany Pratt and features Instagrammable beauty salon vignettes in colors of the rainbow.
