VENUE: A Space for Cocktails...and Gymnastics

E771disc 01 0305 Venue Antigravity 1 152

If your next event absolutely must have an outdoor trampoline (and why not?), here's a place for you: The Antigravity Sky Loft, the Hell's Kitchen training space for the Antigravity performance troupe, can bring out the inner acrobat in all your guests. In addition to the aforementioned trampoline, there are floor mats and aerial stunt harnesses (a la The Matrix or Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). You can also forgo these features and use the 1,750-square-foot, minimalist-looking space in a more conventional way--for a cocktail party, dinner or product launch, say. The studio can accommodate 125 for a sit-down dinner with room for dancing; 200 for a dinner without dancing; and 300 for a cocktail party. And don't forget the venue's outdoor areas, a 2,000-square-foot outdoor deck and a 800-square-foot rooftop terrace. The venue also has two full kitchens, storage space, dressing rooms and a stereo system. The base price: $2,500 for eight hours.
