In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Bon Appétit magazine, the Bon Appétit Culinary and Wine Focus will take place for two days in September featuring an array of events with celebrated chefs and entertaining personalities from around the country and Southern California. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit Chefs for Humanity.
In addition to a tour of the Bon Appétit test kitchen, events include a wine tasting at the Peninsula Beverly Hills; a cocktail reception at the Crescent; a rooftop dinner at the Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills; cocktails at the Avalon Hotel; a Giada De Laurentiis-hosted dinner at the Mosaic; and after-dinner wines at Maison 140. The grand finale will be a tasting with 50 chefs, including Govind Armstrong (Table 8), Suzanne Goin (AOC and Lucques), Lee Hefter and Sherry Yard (Spago), Jean Francois Meteigner (La Cachette), and Bon Appétit editor in chief Barbara Fairchild at the newly renovated Beverly Hilton. All the events take place on September 8 and 9. Regina Su Mangum from RSM Media & Public Relations is handling PR for Los Angeles.
